Course Booking Terms & Conditions

Minimum Age Requirement

​

Students must be aged 16 years or over to enrol on any course at NK Hair And Beauty Academy. Proof of age may be requested. Students under the age of 18 must have written consent from a parent or guardian before attending training.

Patch Testing and Allergic Reactions

​

Certain treatments and products used during training may require patch testing prior to practical sessions.

​

Students are responsible for informing the academy of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or contraindications before training begins.

​

While every effort is made to ensure products are used safely and professionally, NK Hair And Beauty Academy cannot guarantee that allergic reactions or skin sensitivities will not occur. By enrolling on a course, students acknowledge and accept this risk.

The academy shall not be held liable for any adverse reactions resulting from products used during training where students have failed to disclose relevant medical information or where reactions occur despite appropriate procedures being followed.

Practical Training 

​

Students will participate in practical training sessions and may be required to perform treatments on fellow students and receive treatments themselves as part of the learning process.

​

All practical work is supervised by a qualified tutor and conducted in accordance with industry health and safety standards.

​

Course Fees and Refunds

​

All course fees and deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Once a course booking has been confirmed, no refunds will be issued for cancellations, non-attendance, lateness, illness, change of circumstances, or failure to complete the course.

In exceptional circumstances, the academy may, at its sole discretion, offer a transfer to an alternative course date.

Student Conduct

Students are expected to behave professionally and respectfully towards tutors, staff, models, and fellow students at all times.

The academy reserves the right to remove any student whose behaviour is disruptive, abusive, unsafe, or inappropriate. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.

Certification

Certificates will only be issued upon successful completion of the course and where the student has demonstrated the required practical and theoretical competencies.

​

Liability

The academy accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.
